Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and discovered her love for sprinting at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix, who graduated high school in 2003 signed the sports contract with Adidas. Then she attended at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. Felix was awarded her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting a new junior world record. The youngest winner of the 200 meters during the World Championships that took place in Helsinki in the year 2005. She defended her title time and time again in 2007 beating her the long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix competed in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes in her respective events.
