Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born on
26 August 2002, is a popular American singer and rapper. The rapper gained fame
with the release of his 2019 single "Ransom" which had a peak at
number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was featured on his debut mixtape
Love You Tecca (2019) which reached number 4 on the US Billboard 200. It also
contained the singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". The
debut album of his studio,"Virgo" (2020) it debuted at the top of the
Billboard 200. It also included the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles
"Dolly" and "When You Down". The second mixtape, We Love
You Tecca 2 was released in August 2021. It included the songs "Repeat
It", "Lot of Me" and many more. Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was
a son of Jamaican immigrants. He was born August 26 2002, in Queens, New York
City. Sharpe was born in Queens' Springfield Gardens, after which he moved to
Cedarhurst on Long Island. Sharpe was a kid with ambitions to become a
basketball player, however his attention shifted to music at age 12. Sharpe
attended Lawrence High School. When Tecca was nine years old, Tecca acquiesced
to his love of music by rapping with his buddies using his Xbox. One of their
diss tracks was uploaded to SoundCloud some time ago, but has since been
removed. The singer initially didn't intend to pursue a music career however,
he had a dream of becoming an NBA star. He began to pursue music more seriously
when the time he stopped playing basketball during middle school. His first
track to gain some traction, "Tectri", was composed in collaboration
with his friend, Lil Gummybear, and came out in early 2017. Other tracks by
Tecca include "Callin" as well as "Tectri". The career of
Tecca began a year later after the success of his single "Ransom" and
was released to Cole Bennett's Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel in May 22nd in
2019. It peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100 charts and has been played
over 900,000,000 times on Spotify and more than 300 million times on YouTube.
